We specialize in several major categories of services: remodel, tenant finish out and special projects.

Furthermore, we specialize in integrating ourselves into our customer’s processes, exceeding their expectations, and improving their businesses.

For every job, big or small, we provide our customers with a Complete Close-Out Package (Photos, Sign-Offs, Lien-Releases, As-Builts) and timely, accurate invoicing.

  • Remodel

    Remodeling gives a fresh new look to an existing store. Updating a retail space can be necessary for many reasons; safety and sales are chief among them.

    SWS specializes in “open store” remodels allowing the store to remain shoppable and safe. At Southwestern Services, we know that our customers are trying to increase sales, and we make it easy to recoup the cost of renovations by keeping their store open and safe during the renovation.

  • Tenant Finish Out

    The art of installing a retailer’s new store in an existing location. This can mean a newly constructed retail location, or a retail space that another retailer has vacated.

    Southwestern Services specializes in handling the job start to finish. We have over 20 full time superintendents and over twelve crews consisting of carpenters, framers, dry-wall installers, electricians, etc. We can start a job immediately with our crew doing the demo and turning over a finished product faster than the competition.

  • Special Projects

    Special projects are retailer-unique construction projects that require a store walk and partnering with the customer to develop a scope of work. Often Special Projects are projects that don’t fall neatly into other categories and require a unique level of knowledge and initiative in order to complete correctly.

    SWS staff are all “Retailers with Hardhats.” We all came from the retail business as either construction managers or vendors. We know the business and the expectations. We understand how to develop a retail scope of work and how to perform within budget.

Southwestern Services is a licensed General Contractor in all states within the Continental U.S., except for West Virginia.
