John S. Lee – CEO
John has been associated with Southwestern Services since 1997, serving as Controller and Vice President until 2008. He returned in 2012 to lead the company. John holds a degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Mathematics. John believes in reciprocal customer relationships built on the delivery of ongoing solutions which are based on a real understanding of the customer’s business needs.
Gary C. Wortham – General Manager
Gary joined Southwestern Services in 2002, bringing over 25 years of experience in marketing, customer services, and new business development. Gary’s career progressed through sales and marketing to Vice President of Sales and Marketing of a major national company, later serving as President and CEO. His definition for success is surpassing customer’s expectations and his passion is Team Building with our customers. Gary holds a degree from Texas A&M and serves on the 12th Man Foundation, Ambassador Council. In addition, he serves on the Construction Industry Advisory Council, Texas A&M Construction Science Department. Gary believes in meeting our customer’s needs by literally being an extension of our customer’s team taking the “worry” out of construction management for you, the customer.
Kyle C. Wortham – President
Kyle joined Southwestern Services in 2019 following a career that began over 20 years ago in the chemical distribution industry, buying and selling industrial raw materials all over the world. Kyle is efficiency-minded and customer- focused when tackling projects, and his Job #1 is a satisfied customer. His work experience spans from the largest global corporations to the smallest family entities at their beginning, working in all areas of leadership, including General Counsel. Kyle graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 as a member of Company F-2 and graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2014. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and has served as Elder for on church-planting teams in Aledo and Mineral Wells, Texas.
Jack Keller – VP Pre-Construction
Jack joined Southwestern Services in early 2015 after spending 20 years as the Director of Store Planning and Construction for one of the largest Christian retailers in the country. Jack led their expansion of nearly 180 new units in his tenure, in addition to his leadership capacity for store remodels, relocations, and acquisitions. He has sat in the same chair that today’s retail project manager sits in and has first-hand experience in executing demanding growth with smaller staff retailer construction departments. He has in depth, hands-on experience working with architects, engineers, codes departments, landlords, store designers, FFE suppliers, AutoCAD and all the necessary components to take a project through its lifecycle. Jack understands the challenges of today’s retailer and brings rewarding solutions based on successful results experience. He solidly believes in the servant leadership model and that Southwestern Services exists to serve the needs of our retail partners. Jack holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Tennessee Tech University and is based in our Nashville, Tennessee office.
Terry Easley – Director of Construction
Terry joined Southwestern Services in 2007 after spending over 15 years as a construction manager with one of the largest retailers in the country. Terry understands customer impact on remodels, and plans specifically to minimize the direct impact on our customer daily sales. Terry believes in effective daily communication and in providing professional solutions for successful projects.
Justin Ashby – VP Construction & Development
Justin joined the Southwestern Services in 2018 as vice president, construction & development. Previously, he spent over 25 years in design, construction and development positions with several multi-national restaurant and retail companies. Responsibilities in prior roles have ranged from land acquisition & entitlements through design & construction on ground-up development projects, to budgeting, value engineering and pipeline management of high volume national rollouts. In addition to his professional experience, Justin holds a master’s degree from Texas A&M University and holds the Certified Professional Constructor designation with the American Institute of Construction. Justin brings a customer centric approach to his role and approaches each project with the operational needs of the Owner in mind. He believes communication, collaboration and personal accountability are keys to a success.
Jason Lourance – Senior Project Manager
Jason joined Southwestern Services in 2014 following a 12-year career in retail construction. Jason has over 20 years in the construction industry, many of which were serving as an onsite Superintendent throughout his career. Jason’s experience in remodels, finish-outs, special projects, and roll-outs comes from “hands on” knowledge and consistently delivering on time/under budget projects. His attention to detail and his strive to exceed customer expectations has led to strong business relationships with our vendors resulting in success and profitability for all.
Dana Robinson – Senior Project Coordinator
Dana joined Southwestern Services in 2012 with an extensive background in customer service. Through the years she has taken a much more active role in the day to day operations of all projects. There is not a project that comes through Southwestern Services that Dana does not have a hand in. She is finishing a degree in Business Management from University of Texas. Her extensive background in customer service has given her a head start with client management making our customers more part of their projects from start to finish.
